As our products are made to order, not all items are eligible for return or refund.

Some items however may be eligible for return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Should you wish to make a return you must contact us within 14 days of receiving the delivery. If you would like to return or exchange an item, please email us with your name, order number and reason for return. We will provide you with details on eligibility and how to return your item. Exchanges may be for product or store credit. The cost of shipping is non-refundable. Sale items are final sale. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We are not responsible for lost or damaged returns. We will not provide refunds or exchanges for product that is returned damaged or not in the original packaging. Refunds will only be issued once the product has been received in good condition.

Sale Items and Gift Cards Are Final Sale

All in-store and online sale items are final sale. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards. No refunds or exchanges are permitted.

Returns and Refunds (Perishable goods)

Due to the nature of our business and products we sell, perishable items are not eligible for return, unless you are unhappy with your product. Please contact us to let us know why you are unhappy though. We will always do what we can to resolve this. Satisfied customers are very important to us.

If our products arrived damaged, bad, or contaminated in any way, please contact us right away and we will be happy to send a free replacement regardless of its expiration date.

Cancellation

You cannot cancel an order after making payment online. Please make sure you are happy with your Basket before making payment and completing your order.

Please check your Order Confirmation email to review the details of the order that you have submitted. Orkney Island Hotels cannot be held liable for acting in good faith on incorrect information received.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
